There is no substitute for prayers. You can sing songs of praises all day.You can meditate on the word of God which are very important but these are not substitute for prayers. Prayer is direct link to God. Communication with our Father God is the sure way to a great life. Do not ever be too tired or sad to pray. Prayer is the key!

Oh God give me the grace to pray more in the name of Jesus
